Our Coffee Flavor Extract begins with French Roast coffee beans from our local Leelanau coffee roaster, chosen for their deep, bold character and unmistakable warmth. The beans are slowly infused in smooth French vodka, allowing time — not heat — to draw out an intense, richly layered coffee essence.
The result is dark, aromatic, and deeply comforting. It smells like freshly brewed coffee drifting through the house, tastes like quiet mornings and lingering conversations, and feels like warmth you didn’t know you missed.
For us, this extract holds something more. It’s the scent of childhood — cinnamon rolls on Sunday mornings, the hum of grownups talking just out of earshot, and the reassurance of family gathered close. This extract was named after my dad, in honor of those moments and the comfort they carried.
Use it anywhere coffee deserves to be felt, not just tasted. A few drops deepen baked goods, frostings, ice cream, and desserts, or add richness to beverages and cocktails where coffee should linger softly in the background.
