Madagascar Bourbon Cure vanilla beans bathed in French distilled Vodka, giving a smooth, sweet, creamy and buttery flavor. This is the gold standard in vanilla bean paste.
Bourbon cure does not mean they were cured in Bourbon! With this method of curing, the fresh vanilla beans are dipped in boiling water and then quickly wrapped in wool and placed in dark, airtight container to steam the pods to activate all the vanilla deliciousness you have come to know! They are then dried by the sun.
