Let me tell you what you do with this deliciousness!!
Non-Alcohol instructions: Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or whatever flavor you want), mix 1-2 Tablespoons of the mix into 8 ounces of hot water, stir and pour over the ice cream! All the hot buttered rum melts and sort of swirls into the ice cream creating a beautiful deliciousness that you cannot even imagine!
Alcohol instructions: Same as above but use 6.5 oz of water and 1.5 oz of Rum in place of the 8 ounces of water.
We blind taste tested several brands/types of Rum. Kraken Gold Spiced Rum was unanimously chosen as the best tasting by all of our tasters. Also, coincidentally, an airplane bottle of rum is the perfect measurement for the alcohol version of this recipe!
